Immerse yourself into the heart of Polynesian culture by boarding this superb motorized outrigger canoe decorated with traditional symbols. Discover the local history and culture with your guide Narii who will also accompany you during the snorkeling stops. The experience continues with a break on a private motu where no less than 43 species of fruit trees and tropical plants are cultivated. A sports session with an introduction to the traditional pirogue (va’a) will whet your appetite to enjoy a tasty lunch of local specialties before setting up for a few cultural workshops.

Facing the island of Moorea, the InterContinental Tahiti Resort is a deluxe property stretching along the lagoon, a short 3km from the Airport & 6km from Papeete. The resort boasts a private natural lagoonarium, 2 separate fantasy infinity pools with jacuzzi, one with swim-up bar, the other one with cascade, its own dive center, an Algotherm Spa, and many other activities. And since June 2023, the association Te Mana o Te Moana dedicated to the protection and conservation of Polynesian marine environment and sea turtles is settled at the resort.

The tourism tax must be paid directly upon check out:

60 XPF (0.50 Euro) per night and per adult (12 years and up) for all guest house stays located on Maupiti

The airline company luggage allowance for international travelers :
– 23 kg per person booked in Y & S class + 1 carry on luggage (max weight 5 kg/ max size 45x35x20cm)
– 46 kg per person booked in Z class + 1 carry on luggage (max weight 5 kg, max size 45x35x20cm)
– Supplement for excess luggage to be paid directly at the Check In counter. Passengers with more than 10kg excess luggage must check in at least 90 mn prior to departure. Maxi weight per item: 25 kg. Maxi length for Surfboard: 1,80 m (70in).
Divers: extra 5 kg luggage allowance for diving gear transportation with a Padi/Cmas diving card & international flight tickets.

Excursions and Activities
Pre-booked excursions and activities may be modified (route, order of stops, time) or cancelled by the service provider in the event of an insufficient number of participants, bad weather, unanticipated equipment failure, or for any other reason beyond its control that could present a danger for the people or equipment involved. In this case, a full refund will be provided, with no further compensation.
In tropical zones, it is necessary to be in good physical shape: please inform your guide prior to departure about any physical mobility impairment, handicap, pregnancy, implant, transplant, allergy, heightened sensitivity to external elements, difficulty in aquatic environments, phobia, etc…
We would also like to remind you that injuries related to flora and fauna in natural settings are not covered by insurance.
